Send Chris To Africa

Dear Friends and Family,

I want to take a moment and share my heart with you. Last year I had a great opportunity to go to Ethiopia and Rwanda, this was something that my heart longed for, for a few years. It actually went from a goal written on paper to a dream come true. I got to experience so much when I was there. One of our translators in Ethiopia took a small portion of us to a hospital where the extremely sick are brought. There I had the most amazing privilege meeting a group of children facing cancer. They did not have the medicine we have here, but they did have the biggest smiles, and the warmest love.

I asked if I could share my battle with colon cancer to the children, and the parents in the room. My request was welcomed. After I shared how God brought me victory over cancer, I prayed for them. I have never seen anyone so thankful for prayer in my life. The parents embraced me, and thanked me for taking time to pray for their children. This could not have happened if were not for people who took the time to pray for my trip, and also for people who shared in my vision, and gave for me to go.

I share this with you, because I have been invited to Africa again. We are going back to Ethiopia, and this time to Uganda for a few days to share the much-needed love of Christ our savior to the fatherless. This trip will take place June 20th through July 4th. As I prepare for this trip, I ask you to join me in prayer that God will continue to unveil His perfect will, for not only myself, but the rest of the team too.

I have already paid for my deposit along with $1200.00 for this trip. Unfortunately this amount falls short of $2800.00 total for the trip. I ask if you would pray for God to meet the spiritual and financial needs. I also ask you to pray and see what God would lay on your heart to give.
