This morning as I had gotten out of bed and made my oatmeal for breakfast, I ventured into the living room to view some t.v. and enjoy my oatmeal. Planet of the Apes came on, the one with Mark Walhburg in it. Of course this is on FX so there are plenty of commercials to view with the movie. One of the commercials was one of those text this number to find out this or that. You know the ones where you find love, fortune, your future? This one was of course a new one, and it was about finding love. If you text this number, and you will be on your way to finding the love of your life. How easy that would be to just text a number and find the love of your life. Of course I did not rush to get my phone so I could find the love of my life, but how many lonely people out there really did just that?
It made me think of some other people who are longing for love. These are not just someone who is lonely sitting at home longing to find their mate of a lifetime. No! These people are children who have been left parent less in a world that is not so forgiving. I was thinking how easy it would be for one of these orphans who is longing for love if they had that chance to just text a number and be linked up to a family that would love them unconditionally. Unfortunately, this is not an option for these little ones. Of course it is a ridiculous option for anyone to try, but if it were one, who would sign up to be on the other end to answer that text?
