Sodas, cakes, and friends.

We went to a local shop in Addis, and while we were there the street kids from last year seen us and of course they came over to say hi. We gave some money to one of our guides so he could exchange it for us. Well it did not go for long. Nate and I needed to change some more out. So Aki took us over to a local place that exchanged dollars for bur. Then we went into a coffee shop to use the toilet. There Nate and Aki got a couple of cokes and then Nate took the rest of his outside to 3 of the street kids that we knew from last year. Then Nate asked Aki if it would be alright if they came in to have some food and some cokes. He told him that it would, so they came in and Nate and I bought them some cakes and some cokes, and there, they devoured them like kittens in a bowl of milk. We seen that they enjoyed every bite of the cake and every sip of the sodas.



It is sad to say that the drinks and the food only lasted for a short time, but the memory will last for a lifetime.
